This is a tutorial on how to hide your machine from the network.
Go to Run –> cmd
After that type the following command, as the snapshot shows:
net config server /hidden:yes
Press Enter.
* Reboot your machine and wait for a while.
* If you want it back to be not hidden, write:
net config server /hidden:no
* Then reboot your machine and wait for a while.
